Gifted and Talented Year 8 Mandarin Taster Day
Year 8 Gifted and Talented students had the opportunity to experience a Mandarin taster day on Friday 22nd June. During the day students learnt Chinese numbers, how to talk about their family in Chinese, solve traditional Chinese riddles, learnt about Chinese culture as well as having an authentic Chinese lunch including chop stick lessons. On top of this students learnt how to ‘lion dance’ at the end of the day which was the perfect end to a truly inspiring day.
