Students have shown their generous sides with two Christmas initiatives that encouraged them to think of others leading up to the festive period.
As well as raising £275 for Save the Children by taking part in the charity's Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 15th December, the school also organised a reverse advent calendar in aid of Worcester Foodbank.
The reverse advent calendar encouraged students to donate items instead of opening a door on a calendar. The school received a fantastic response and students delivered all donations to the foodbank on Wednesday 20th December, ready for distribution to people in the local community over the Christmas period.
Mark Pollard, Headteacher, commented: "Whenever we hold charity endeavours in school, we're always extremely proud of the way our students work together. They are extremely caring and thoughtful, and these two activities have certainly highlighted their charitable side."
