Come and join us in the 80s!
We're inviting the local community to our production of the popular musical Back to the 80s.
Back to the 80s tells the story of the senior class of William Ocean High School, as remembered through the eyes of former student Corey Palmer. It features some of the biggest hits of the decade, as well as high-energy dance routines, amazing costumes and a lot of hairspray!
There are three performances on Tuesday 11th, Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th February involving approximately 60 students from Year 7 through to Year 10. In addition to the students making up the cast, they are also performing the backstage duties, such as stage direction, make-up and lighting.
Mark Pollard, Headteacher, commented: "Back to the 80s is a really fun show and will bring back a lot of memories for older members of the audience. Our students have been working extremely hard on the production and are excited about the whole show coming together.
"We have some very talented students and we're hoping people from the local community, who may not have children or grandchildren at the school, will join us to enjoy the show."
Performances start at 7pm. Tickets are priced at £6 for adults and £4 for concessions and are on sale from the finance office. Tickets are limited and may not be available on the door on the night of a performance.
