Second-hand uniform sale
A second-hand uniform shop is opening at the school on Wednesday 12th August.
Organised by the Bishop Perowne Friends Association, parents and carers of current students, and students who will be joining Year 7 in September, are invited to visit the shop, which will be held in the theatre between 10am and 2pm.
Michael Simpson from the Bishop Perowne Friends Association, commented:
"We all know how quickly children can grow out of their uniform and how often new shirts, blazers, skirts, PE kit, etc, need to be bought. The shop is there to allow parents and carers the opportunity to purchase what they need at a reduced cost, which is particularly relevant at the moment.
"We're also encouraging any parents and carers who have pieces of uniform that are no longer needed to bring them along and donate them to the Bishop Perowne Friends Association to allow us to help more people."
All items included in the sale will have been prewashed and will be steam cleaned after being touched. The association is requesting anyone who brings items to donate ensures they are washed and clean.
All visitors will be asked to adhere to the social distancing and general hygiene guidelines that will be in place. These include limiting the number of people in the theatre at any one time and using the hand-sanitising station before entering.
