Overview
We work extremely closely with all the local schools that feed into Bishop Perowne. We take students from a number of other schools and our location, resources, and high standards across the board mean that we attract students from an increasingly wide variety of primary settings.
Applying for a place - Primary Transfer Process (September start in Year 7)
If you are applying through the primary school transfer process then the School Admissions page on Worcestershire County Council’s website has a great deal of information as well as all the necessary application forms.
Information on primary to secondary school transfer is also provided to parents by their child’s primary school at the start of their Year 6.
Applying for a place - All other admissions
Should you be looking to apply for a place with us during a school year then Worcestershire County Council also have an in-year admissions section on their website.
For those who are seeking a place outside of the admission time or in a different year group, the Headteacher, Mrs Price, is always happy to discuss place availability and to offer prospective parents, carers and students a tour of the school. Information Handbook for Parents and Carers
A copy of Worcestershire County Council’s Information for Parents Book on Admissions and Transfers to Schools is available on the website, as well as to view in schools, libraries and at your local Worcestershire Hub.
The book contains full details on the application and allocation process, including the over-subscription admission criteria for each school, and we do advise parents and carers to read this book prior to making an application.
